Best Home Projects to do if you’re Quarantined due to Coronavirus image

COVID-19 has thrown many lives into disarray and brought others to a standstill. If you’re quarantined because of the pandemic, you may be feeling demotivated, bored, or even a little lost. Here are some project ideas to revitalize your space, recharge your mood, and boost your creativity.

  1. Rearrangement  Whether this is just a bookshelf, your wardrobe, or even all the furniture in a room, rearranging a space brings in a brand new visual, and sometimes even energy.
  2. Cleaning  There is a certain therapy to cleaning, especially when the item(s) in question really deserve it! Some ideas of what to clean may be vents, under the bed, and even storage spots like drawers and cabinets. Not only do you get rid of health hazards like dust, dirt, and even sometimes mold, you’re also likely to find old treasure you forgot you had.
  3. Organization  Closets, the garage, even the display cabinet where you keep the fancy dishware. Organizing gives you the chance to reorder items, chuck out items, and cycle through items that you rarely use. This is a great time to wear fancy dress around the house and use the fine China.
  4. Jazz up your Walls  Walls make a big difference to the feel and aesthetic of a space. You could fix holes and cracks, clean up cobwebs in corners, or even create art to hang on them! Beyond just art, you could install hanging plants, mirrors, pictures, the possibilities are endless. If you’re really feeling up to it, pick a wall and turn it into a big piece of art itself.
  5. Lights  Replace old lightbulbs, clean your lamps, and reevaluate your curtains. Light makes a big difference to your mood and the room’s ambience. Do you like your curtains? Do they bring you joy, do they let enough light in, or give you enough privacy?
  6.  Go Through the Kitchen  Rifling through your pantry can help you take stock of what’s hidden away in your cupboard and therefore come up with some crazy dishes. This is also a great opportunity to clean small appliances such as microwaves, coffee makers, and toasters.
  7. The Great Outdoors  Cleaning the debris left from Winter, preparing your planters, and cleaning outdoor furniture are great ways to refresh your outdoor space.
  8. Refreshing the Office  Your office is a space where you should feel creative, motivated, and have everything you need to be productive. Giving it a great refresh can consist of hanging up a cool-looking wall organizer, making your own bookends, or a memo board.

They could also be something bigger, like designing and building your own perfect desk from wood pallets, making a dry-erase board, or even perfecting your office chair.

Whatever you decide to do, it’s a good idea to get advice from professionals before you embark on a home project. You may need to rent equipment for certain projects, learn new skills (possible online), and know what you can and can’t do.

We can help you create a detailed plan and take your time, and, if you need us to help you, then we can plan to work with you under COVID-19 safety precautions.
